We are looking for a Merchandising Manager who will be accountable for developing and driving the Category sales from merchandise selection, promotions development to business analytics
Responsibilities:
1. Merchandise Planning
Suggests merchandise to be purchased based on turnover, current trends and customer preferences
Review performance indicators (e.g. sales and margin inventory)
Write reports and forecasting sales levels on a weekly/monthly basis
2. Inventory Management
Monitoring of purchase orders and deliveries
Ensure availability and order of stocks based on planogram/merchandise movements
Management of store inventories and develop action plans to correct
3.Vendor Management
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
Contact suppliers in order to schedule/expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, late deliveries and other problem
4. Promotions
Collaborate with Vendor Partners, Merchandise Manager and Marketing to develop campaigns and other tactical initiatives to achieve sales goals
Coordinate with Ops team and other internal team members for a successful execution.
Qualifications:
- With work experience in retail merchandising, ecommerce experience is an advantage
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Passionate about e-commerce and customer experience
- Collaborative and ability to push for numbers and business development
