We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Associate – Treasury & Tax to support our treasury operations and tax compliance activities. This role will be responsible for managing cash flow processes, banking relationships, statutory tax filings, and supporting financial controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with financial data in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Treasury Management
- Monitor daily cash positions and manage liquidity requirements
- Prepare cash flow forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Execute and track payments, transfers, and bank transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support management of banking relationships and documentation
- Assist with debt management
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and treasury policies
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and file indirect and direct tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax support)
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
- Maintain tax calendars and ensure timely compliance
- Assist in tax audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries
- Support tax provisioning and deferred tax calculations
- Stay updated on relevant tax regulations and assess business impact
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails
- Contribute to process improvements in treasury and tax functions
Qualifications:
- Willing to report daily in San Juan, Metro Manila
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in treasury, tax, or accounting
- Strong understanding of financial principles and tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
