Account Executive (New Venture)

The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships within the assigned sector. This role requires a highly motivated, results-driven individual with a strong understanding of trading principles, market dynamics, and sales techniques. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, identify market trends, negotiate deals, and contribute to revenue growth.

Segments:
  • Hotel: preferably familiar with Hotel Industry/FMCG/Food Distribution
  • Airline Catering: preferably familiar with FMCG/F&B Distribution
  • Trader:  preferably familiar with Meat/Seafood Trader/FMCG
  • Meat Processing: preferably familiar with Food Manufacturing/Meat or Food Ingredients Distributor/Chemical Supplier
  • Supermarket: preferably familiar with Retail Chains/ FMCG/ Meat Distributor/Fresh Produce Distributor
Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to reach sales targets and expand the customer base.
    • Build a pipeline of prospects through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
    • Deliver presentations and product/service proposals to potential clients.
  • Account Management
    •  Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts.
    • Understand client needs and ensure the delivery of customized solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support, address client inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
    • Cross-sell and upsell products and services to maximize revenue.
  • Trading & Market Intelligence
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify trading opportunities.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients and suppliers.
    • Execute trades and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of supply chain, inventory, and logistics.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Work closely with internal teams including operations, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales reports to management.
    • Participate in team meetings, contribute to forecasting, and share market insights.
Qualifications:
  • Willing to be present onsite in Sucat, Paranaque with office schedule Mon-Fri (8AM to 5PM) and Sat (8AM to 12PM)
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or account management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or any related field
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Results oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Knowledge of trading practices, commodity markets, or industry specific regulations is a plus.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
