We are looking for an Accounting Assistant [Bookkeeper] to record day-to-day financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the general ledger in Xero accounting software
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and completing the process in Xero
- Prepare month-end journal entries (i.e., accruals, amortization, etc.)
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Research and resolve discrepancies between accounting system and P2P system
- Assist in creating and updating monthly and annual financial reports
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field of study
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Sheet
- Experience in using Xero or similar apps is an advantage
- Excellent organizational skills
